Sábado 5 y 12 de Marzo – Santa Ana.

Este taller es para todas aquellas personas interesadas en aprender como hacer un horno de barro con sus propias manos.  Es una excelente oportunidad de reconectar con la tierra y con su propia creatividad,  para crear una escultura natural que puede después puede ir a replicar en su propia casa.

Aquí hay una lista de los temas que se van a trabajar en el taller:

• Información de suelos
• Pruebas de campo para su tierra (para saber si les funciona para hacer su horno)
• Mezclas y proporciones
• Cómo dimensionar su horno (principios estructurales y combustión)
• Construcción de molde negativo del horno
• Construcción de arco de ladrillo para la entrada
• Mezclado y construcción de paredes del horno
• Repello natural y acabados
• Curado del horno
• Principios de uso del horno.

Que hay que traer:

• Botas de hule
• Guantes hule
• Botella de agua
• Sombrero
• Bloqueador
• Algunas frutas para compartir
• Cuaderno y lápiz para tomar notas

El precio del taller es de 55,000 colones por los dos sábados que dura el taller y esto incluye todos los materiales y un almuerzo ambos días.  Tenemos un cupo bastante limitado entonces lo mejor sería reservar lo más pronto posible enviando el comprobante de depósito al correo: barrovivocr@gmail.com.

This workshop is for anyone interested in learning how to make a clay oven with your own hands. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with the land and your own creativity, to create a natural sculpture that can then be replicated at your own home and make your own wood fired pizza!!

Soil information
Field tests for your land (to see if they work to make your oven)
Mixtures and proportions
How to size your oven (structural principles and combustion)
Negative mold construction for the oven
Building brick arch for the entry
Mixing and oven wall construction
Natural and plaster finishes
Oven curing procedure
Early use of the oven

You need to bring:

Rubber boots
rubber gloves
Water bottle
Hat
blocker
Some fruits to share
Notebook and pen to take notes

The price of the workshop is 55,000 colones for both Saturdays and this is the workshop includes all materials and lunch for both days. We have a limited space so it would be best to book as soon as possible by sending the deposit slip via email or give me a call!
